Part 2: Shoot Your Shot
Series: Finding Your Way
This is week two of our series Finding Your Way, and this week’s message—Shoot Your Shot—is all about sharing your faith with boldness, clarity, and compassion.
Last week, we discovered the “why” behind our urgency: the gospel is too important to keep to ourselves. Now, it’s time to get practical. From running shoes to real-life evangelism, we’re asking the question: Are we more passionate about brands than we are about Jesus?
Just like we share our favorite shoes, workouts, or restaurants—we’re called to share the One who changed everything. And as we explore the story of the paralyzed man in Luke 5, we’ll uncover six steps that help us bring people to Jesus, no matter where we are on our journey:
Promotion – It starts with awareness. Reviews, social media, and invitations all help others take a first step toward truth.
Pre-Evangelism – Through building relationships, living with compassion, and walking with people, we earn the credibility to speak about our faith.
Evangelism – Eventually, we must explain the truth: that sin separates us from God, but Jesus offers forgiveness and new life.
These four friends in Luke 5 didn't just invite their friend to church—they carried him, climbed a roof, dug through the ceiling, and lowered him before Jesus. They believed Jesus was the answer—and they shot their shot.

Don’t miss Part 2: Shoot Your Shot, because someone in your life is waiting—and God may be asking you to be the one who carries them closer to Jesus.
This year, don’t just talk about faith—take the shot.
